Breaking News Indian farmers, subsidy on fertilizer reduced by per bag

The central government has given a big blow to farmers and gardeners by reducing the subsidy on granular 12-32-16 fertilizer by Rs 1,213 per bag. Where earlier the Central Government used to give subsidy of Rs 1,848 on a 45 kg bag of fertilizer, now it will be available only at Rs 635. The Center has also issued guidelines to IFFCO officials regarding this. However, the prices of fertilizers ordered in the market or in recent times will not increase.

HRTC buses will not run on local routes after 5 pm on Diwali

On Diwali, on November 12, Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) buses will not run on local routes after 5:00 pm. HRTC has informed the passengers that the local buses whose routes will be after 5:00 pm will either be clubbed or will be sent early as soon as 5:00 pm. On the other hand, buses on long and interstate routes will also be run in club form. But on November 12, night bus services will run only nominally.

Health survey of students from class 7th to 12th will be conducted in Himachal

There will be a health survey of students from class 7th to 12th in Himachal Pradesh. Preparations have started to prepare a report on the changes in health and behavior of students in the age group of 13 to 17 years. In this series, Health and Mamta Health Institute launched the format of Adolescent Health Survey in Shimla on Thursday. This survey will be conducted in government schools with students aged 13 to 17 years.

Flowers become expensive by Rs 20 to 50 per kg during the festive season.

Decorating homes has become expensive during the festive season. Two days before Dhanteras, the prices of flowers have increased in the markets. Flowers of different species have become expensive by Rs 20 to Rs 50 per kg. Along with this, the prices of flower garlands and bouquets have also increased. Last week, marigold was being sold at Rs 130 per kg. These days the price of marigold has gone up to Rs 150 per kg. At the same time, due to the different varieties of marigold, it is being sold for up to Rs 300 per kg.

Government schools will not have more teachers than required, government asked for details from districts

Data has been sought from the districts for rationalization of surplus teachers in government schools of Himachal Pradesh. There are preparations to provide adequate staff to every school from the academic session 2024-25. Through batchwise and direct recruitment, the state will get 4,000 teachers of different categories in the new year. These teachers will be deployed in schools in remote areas. The government is going to take strict action from the new year to send the teachers who have been working in the schools adjacent to the cities for the last several years to the needy schools.

Festive allowance of Rs 500-500 issued to children of care institutions

Himachal Pradesh government has released Rs 5,27,000 as festive allowance on the occasion of Diwali to the children living in child care institutions of the state (Children of the State). Rs 3,27,500 has also been released to the institutions on Diwali so that all the preparations related to the festival can be ensured in the institutions on time. The government provides Rs 500 per child as festive allowance on festivals to all the Children of the State.

On Diwali, soldiers will give duty in shifts of 12 hours each, fire brigade deployed 1600 personnel

For Diwali, Himachal fire department personnel will be on duty in shifts of 12 hours each. About 1,600 fire officers and employees have been deployed to deal with fire incidents across the state. Apart from this, the fire department has deployed about 241 vehicles across the state to deal with fire incidents. The fire department is fully prepared to deal with disasters in the state.
