कुंड में नहाने गए 4 युवकों में से 2 की डूबने से मौत हो गई। मामला औद्योगिक क्षेत्र कालाअंब के साथ लगते गांव कौलांवाला भूड के गुलेरिया खड्ड का है। पुलिस के अनुसार मरने वालों में नीतिन नारायणगढ़ में रहता था। जहां उसकी रिश्तेदारी में हरिद्वार से सुमीत आया हुआ था। ये दोनों युवक अपने 2 अन्य साथियों के साथ दोपहर के समय नहाने के लिए कौलांवाला भूड के नजदीक गुलेरिया खड्ड के लिए निकल थे।
इस दौरान नीतिन व सुमीत एक बाइक पर थे जबकि उनके साथी एक अन्य बाइक पर सवार थे। रास्ते में बाइक खराब हाेने पर नीतिन व सुमीत के साथी वहीं रुक गए जबकि नीतिन व सुमीत गुलेरिया खड्ड पर नहाने के लिए पहुंच गए। उन्होंने जैसे ही पानी में छलांग लगाई वैसे ही वे पानी के भवर में फंस गए। इस दौरान दोनों ही युवकों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।
एएसपी सिरमौर बबीता राणा ने बताया कि जब उक्त दाेनाें युवकाें के 2 अन्य साथी बाइक ठीक करवाकर मौके पर पहुंचे तो नीतिन व सुमीत वहां मौजूद नहीं थे जबकि उनके कपड़े व अन्य सामान मौके पर मौजूद था। एएसपी ने बताया कि जब जांच की गई तो दोनों युवक पानी में डूबे हुए पाए गए, जिन्हें स्थानीय गोताखोरों की मदद से बाहर निकाला गया। उन्होंने बताया कि पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर आगामी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।

According to the police, Nitin lived in Narayangarh among those who died. Where Sumeet had come from Haridwar in his kinship. These two youths, along with their two other companions, had left for Guleria Khad near Kaulanwala Bhud for a bath in the afternoon.
During this, Nitin and Sumeet were on a bike while their companions were riding on another bike. Nitin and Sumeet’s companions stopped there when the bike got damaged on the way, while Nitin and Sumeet reached Guleria Khad to take a bath. As soon as he jumped into the water, he got trapped in the water. During this, both the youths died on the spot.
ASP Sirmaur Babita Rana said that when two other accomplices of the said youths reached the spot after getting their bikes fixed, Nitin and Sumit were not present there while their clothes and other items were present on the spot. The ASP said that when the investigation was done, both the youths were found submerged in water, who were pulled out with the help of local divers. He said that the police have registered a case and started further action.
