Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that Jairam has resorted to gimmicks to save his face in the elections. Since their hunger for power is not satisfied, they are taking the sold out MLAs along with them, holding the feet of former Chief Minister Dhumal and seeking his blessings. Jairam Thakur did not remember Hamirpur district when he was CM.
He could not reach Sameerpur after becoming the Chief Minister. He misses Hamirpur now. MLAs in Hamirpur district were not given a chance to meet Jairam in the BJP government, he told reporters in the Hamirpur District Assembly.

On the issue of BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut eating beef, CM Sukhu said that beef is not eaten in Sanatan Dharma. If someone has said that he has eaten beef then why has he eaten it? BJP will have to answer on this subject. Only Kangana Ranaut can tell who was the first Prime Minister of the country.
