HRTC prepares for Diwali festival, so many special buses will run from Delhi-Chandigarh-Baddi
On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, HRTC will run 173 special buses from Delhi, Chandigarh and Baddi before Diwali i.e. on 10th and 11th November for Himachalis coming home from outside states. The corporation management has made complete preparations for this. These buses will run from Delhi, Chandigarh and Baddi to different areas of the state. The corporation management has issued instructions to all DDMs and RMs to operate additional buses. Government is providing house rent to 246 disaster affected families in Himachal.
The state government is providing financial assistance in the form of house rent to 246 families rendered homeless due to the disaster during the monsoon season. Rs 74.25 lakh is being provided for this. Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, in an informal conversation with the media, said that under this scheme in Bilaspur district, 55 affected families are being given financial assistance in the form of house rent, till March 31, 2024, the state government will provide the rent to these families. Financial assistance of Rs 16.95 lakh will be provided by . Along with this, free gas connection has been provided by the state government and ration is also being provided free of cost. Rent is being provided to 73 families in Kangra district, while 118 families in Mandi district are taking advantage of the house rental facility of the state government.

Himachal government reaches Supreme Court in case of challenging CPS appointment
