Himachal weather news: The scorching heat is now becoming a cause of trouble for people in the hilly areas. The temperature is above normal in many places. Due to the ongoing heat wave in the plains of the Himachal, the temperature has crossed 40 degrees Celsius at many places.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, when the maximum temperature is about 5.5 degrees Celsius higher than normal and the maximum temperature is at least 40 degrees Celsius, then that situation is called heat wave.
In Himachal Pradesh, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heat wave at one or two places in Sirmaur, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Kangra, Solan, Una and Shimla in the next 24 hours.
