Long weekend 5 days holiday and snowfall and rain… come to Himachal

The weather will change in Himachal Pradesh. There is a chance of rain and snow for the next five days. There is good news for tourists due to the long weekend. There is a holiday this week. In such cases, people planning to travel receive double benefits.

Actually, Summer has come in the valley. However, the weather is still cold in Himachal Pradesh. However, there is a possibility of more snowfall in the coming days. In such a situation, tourism in Shimla, Manali and Dharamshala will increase tremendously. At the same time, there was an increase in hotel reservations due to the long weekend. On the other hand, the weather will be cloudy in many parts of the province on Tuesday. But the sun is also visible.

How will the weather be in Himachal

According to Shimla Center of Meteorology, there are chances of rain and snowfall in the central hilly and high altitude areas of Himachal Pradesh from April 9 to 15. The meteorological department has issued a yellow alert. The weather will be clear in the plains only on 9, 10 and 12 April. There will be orange alert on 13th April. Due to Orange Alert, heavy rains have been predicted in seven districts of the state, Mandi, Shimla, Kullu, Kinnaur, Lahaul Spiti, Chamba, Kangra, Solan and Sirmaur. In Himachal Pradesh, the mercury has crossed 35 for the first time in the season in Una district adjacent to Punjab. It has been recorded here at 35.4 degrees. Whereas, minimum mercury of -1.3 has been recorded in Keylong of Lahaul Spiti.

Crowd also due to Navratri

Due to Navratri in Himachal, crowd has gathered in Shaktipeeths. Crowds of devotees from Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan are flocking to Kangra Brajeshwari Temple, Chamunda Temple, Una Chintpurni Temple and other temples. Additional police personnel have been deployed here.

How many days leave is there

It is noteworthy that the festival of Eid is being celebrated in the country and the world on 11th April. There is a national holiday during this period. However, April 12 is a working day. Similarly, 13-14 April is the second Saturday and Sunday. There is a holiday during this period also. Ambendkar Jayanti is also on Sunday.

Himachal Day is celebrated on 15th April and hence government offices here remain closed on this day. Government offices will open on Tuesday, 16th April. But 17th April is again a government holiday for Eid-ul-Zuha. In such a situation, if you take two days leave on 12th and 16th April, then you can enjoy the whole week’s holiday.
