सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता विभाग के तहत अब लाभार्थियों के ज्वाइंट बैंक खाते में सामाजिक सुरक्षा पेंशन नहीं आएगी। Under the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, now social security pension will not come in the joint bank account of the beneficiaries.
इसके लिए अब पेंशन धारक लाभार्थी का स्वयं का अलग से खाता होना अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है। जिन लाभार्थियों के ज्वाइंट खाते में सामाजिक सुरक्षा पेंशन आती है, उन्हें तहसील कल्याण अधिकारी या जिला कल्याण अधिकारी कार्यालय में अलग खाता नंबर दर्ज करवाना होगा। For this, now it has been made mandatory for the pension holder beneficiary to have his own separate account. Beneficiaries whose social security pension comes in the joint account, they will have to register a separate account number in the office of Tehsil Welfare Officer or District Welfare Officer.

इसके बाद लाभार्थी के स्वयं के अलग खाते में पेंशन की राशि आएगी। आगामी पेंशन राशि लाभार्थियों के स्वयं के अलग खाते में ही आएगी। After this, the amount of pension will come in the beneficiary’s own separate account. The upcoming pension amount will come in the beneficiaries’ own separate account only.

पेंशन लेने वाले सैकड़ों लाभार्थियों के खुद के खाते नहीं हैं। पत्नी या पति के साथ ज्वाइंट खाते हैं। पहले तो इस ज्वाइंट खाते में उस लाभार्थी की या दोनों पति-पत्नी की पेंशन आती रही है, लेकिन अब पति का अलग और पत्नी का अलग बैंक खाता अनिवार्य है।
वृद्धावस्था पेंशन के मामले में ऐसा अधिक है। पात्र वृद्ध दंपतियों के ज्वाइंट खाते हैं। This is more so in case of old age pension. Joint accounts of eligible aged couples.

उधर, जिला कल्याण अधिकारी उर्मिल पटियाल ने कहा कि ज्वाइंट खाते के बजाय अब स्वयं के व्यक्तिगत खाते में पेंशन आएगी। लाभार्थी अपना व्यक्तिगत खाता तहसील कल्याण अधिकारी या जिला कल्याण अधिकारी के कार्यालय में जमा करवाएं।
