The latest news is that samples of 20 medicines manufactured in Himachal have failed again. Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has issued this month’s drug alert. A total of 59 samples of medicines have failed in the country, out of which the number of failed samples of medicines from Himachal is 20. The medicines whose samples have failed include medicines for many diseases including allergy, pain, antibiotic, heart, BP and sugar. Deputy Drug Control Officer Manish Kapoor said that notices have been issued to all those industries whose drug samples have failed.
