HRTC decision to ban carrying goods in buses without bill

Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has banned carrying luggage without bill in buses under the luggage policy. In the amended orders issued regarding the policy, it has been made clear that if goods are sent in buses without passengers, it will be mandatory to pay the bill for the goods to the conductor. The corporation management has taken this decision in view of the festive season. If the value of goods being sent in buses without passengers is more than Rs 50,000, then it will be mandatory to submit a valid e-way bill.

Himachal government preparing to take loan of Rs 800 crore

The state government is once again going to take a loan of Rs 800 crore. The government will apply for loan on 13th November and this amount will be deposited in the government account on 15th November. This loan will be taken for a period of 15 years. Earlier, the state government had taken a loan of Rs 1000 crore in the month of October last. After taking this loan, the debt amount of the state government will increase to Rs 78430 crore. The state government had earlier taken a loan of Rs 500 crore in the month of August. It is noteworthy that every child born in the state today has a debt of more than Rs 102818 whereas before the BJP government came to power, the per capita debt was Rs 76630.

Jairam Thakur said- It is wrong to increase the prices of goods at depots during Diwali.

Car crushes three youths Nerchowk of Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Police caught 32 fugitive criminals, launched special operation

Himachal Pradesh Police has arrested 32 fugitive criminals in October. In this, 22 criminals have been arrested from Himachal and 12 from other states. All these criminals have been brought to Himachal. Kinnaur police have arrested five proclaimed offenders, four each in Mandi, Sirmaur, Hamirpur and Bilaspur, three in Chamba, two in Solan, two in Baddi, two in Shimla, while one each in Kullu and Una districts. The arrested criminals were involved in many serious charges. DGP Sanjay Kundu said that the search for more fugitive criminals is going on.

Counseling to fill batch wise 166 posts of JBT from 20th November

Counseling will be held from 20 to 22 November at Nursery Middle School Dharamshala to fill 166 posts on batch basis of JBT. Only those candidates who fulfill the qualifications prescribed under R&P rules can participate in the selection process. The previously announced 15 marks evaluation process for appointment on batchwise basis has been abolished by the department. Instead, selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
